Implemented community outreach with a partner service through CAN Community Health that provides mobile clinic services to hard to reach populations providing point of care syphilis testing and treatment if indicated on site. We have also started a distribution campaign to enhance provider knowledge regarding our syphilis board order for testing and the state testing requirements for maternal and congenital syphilis

To reduce and prevent congenital syphilis by increasing access to testing, treatment and provider awareness.

We have reached about 52 people tested for syphilis with the mobile outreach. So, far we have distributed 200-300 letters to providers in Maricopa County and posted the letter to the Arizona Medical Board Website.
