T-3 Spread sheet- The spread sheet is used as a reminder to retest pregnant women in their 3rd trimester, 26 weeks. If the client is re-infected, this gives ample time for treatment before baby is born.

STD Manager, Director of Communicable Disease, Director of the Health Department and Congenital Coordinator.
What were/are the primary objectives/goals of this intervention?
Preventing the increase of Congenital syphilis and normalizing testing in the 3rd trimester by all OBGYNS.
What were the outcomes of the intervention?

2012 there was 16 Congenital cases. After implementing the T3 Spread sheet in 2013, it went to nine, 2012, it went to six. Cases of Congenital syphilis is in decline since implementing the spread sheet to as low as four in 2018. The number as Pregnant women on sheet varies from 110- 145.

What else would you recommend or advise to other counties considering this intervention/activity?
The spread sheet should only have 2 people that has access, STD Surveillance supervisor and STD Supervisor. Congenital Coordinator should go to all OBGYN office and try to get them on board with 3rd trimester testing at 26 weeks instead of at 32 weeks.
